Guess whaaaat? After months of staring at schematics and weeks of fiddling with printed parts, we have a table loom prototype in stock. Huzzah! This is a rigid heddle loom. In the picture above, the two gold sections and one silver section that the threads pass through make up the heddle. Here Joseph is warping the loom in preparation for weaving. Here's a top-down shot of Joseph warping up the loom. The completed loom is 20 inches long and 18 inches wide. The heddles are 12 in.
If you're interested, head over to the shop and pick up your table loom in custom colors. I'm favoring blue and gold, but I'm like that sometimes.

This is likely splitting hairs, but generally when weavers say “table loom” we aren’t referring to a rigid heddle loom, but to a tabletop (miniaturized) version of a regular style loom. Rigid heddle looms may sit on a table or a stand, but are distinct from these other types of looms. Just trying to avoid confusing your users. I’m a huge fan of your work and a regular customer! Thank you for all that you do!

Are you planning to release the RHL files to thingiverse, and/or provide them to users who purchase the physical looms on Etsy? Love what you do!
