We are proud to present humanely processed leprechauns! As it were. So, technically the new green wheels aren't leprechauns, but they're still pretty magical. JUST in time for Saint Patrick's day, these wheels capture that vibrant, Irish green. (Saint Patrick wasn't technically Irish, but YOU KNOW WHAT. Let's not split hairs.) I love the look of the combs we printed. The humidity has wreaked some havoc with the print farm, but we're still working our way through the hopper. Remember, the Irish Spinning Wheels we provide in our Etsy shop are DIY kits. We include all of the parts, but you'll need to put them together on your own (and I would place the build level at intermediate). If, however, you're looking to spin after simpler assembly, I'd recommend either a charkha (see Joseph's article in Mother Earth News) or a drop spindle. Also, keep in mind that all of our design files are available free for personal use on Thingiverse. We'd love to see some of your prints!
Incidentally. We are still printing on our OG machine purchased from Creality back in 2017. We've added a few others to make up our print farm. Our printers are Acacia, Baobao, Cedar, Dogwood, Grenada, Ewart, the Twins, and Grundy (Skeeter). Happy spinning to all!
