Customer Make: Alyson's Wheel

When Alyson said that she was excited about the spinning wheel, I was pleased. It's so nice to have the right tool at the right moment, and I love being a part of that process when customers assemble our products. I didn't realize that Alyson was going the full hog--and mean, the FULL hog. 

I loved the light lavender wood and smoky floral stencils. I also loved that she searched for a matching-colored drive band, which she made from durable paracord. What a brilliant idea! 

Alyson's wheel is a silver Irish tension wheel from our shop. The silver spokes look so neat as they spin, like shiny, glinting blurs of industrious energy. Thanks to Alyson for sharing your wheel with us. It was wonderful to see!
